Here's a simple tutorial that shows how to go from coloring, to cleaning, to color-ready again with the Dye Candy, Hummingbird, so the Hummingbird is always ready when you are, day or night, no appointments necessary.

For Dye Candy's founder, Kathryn Madison, it was both a mission and a labor of love to create a color applicator that would give her the results she expected to achieve during her years as a salon professional. Her goals were precision, speed, outcome and a better experience than what was possible with a basic bottle.

A basic bottle has just two parts, the lid and the bottle. The Hummingbird has multiple parts, all engineered for a tight fit, so the color can be pumped up from the bottom and used in an upright position- so you can actually see what you are doing and have more control over liquid colors.

Over the years, as it was being developed, the individual parts became more streamlined, and easier to assemble. Essentially, all the work has been done, now it's up to you to create and simply enjoy your look.
